Research on Digital Competence of EU Citizens: A Comparative Analysis Based on the Dig Comp1.0, 2.0 and 2.1 (International and Comparative Education; No. 6) 발행 연도: 2020 저자: Zheng Xudong | Fan Xiaoyu 단체 저자: Beijing Normal University The explosive development of digital technology has revolutionized the competences of social citizens. In 2006, EU proposed digital competence, based on it, EU established A Framework for Developing and Understanding Digital Competence in Europe (Dig Comp 1.0). After releasing two revisions of Dig Comp 1.0, the Digital Competence Framework for Citizens (Dig Comp 2.1) was officially released in 2017. Compared with the former versions, Dig Comp 2.1 expanded digital competences areas, revised the competences names, no longer described the specific competences from KSA (knowledge, skill and attitude) perspective, and the proficiency of the competences were divided into more detailed 8 proficiency level. The Dig Comp 2.1 contained the following values: a. the transformation of the concept of digital citizenship education; b. paying attention to the competences of complex problem solving and innovation; c. looking forward to the future development of intelligent society; d. supporting the development of lifelong learning and developing qualified digital citizens. The curriculum is by and large represents citizenship and moral education theory and practice in western democracies. The trend of the development of civic moral education for British young people tells us that it is very important for the government to take the responsibility of education subject to promote effective civic moral education. Nothwithstanding, it is noteworthy the curriculum places significance emphasis on citizenship and moral education in a pluralistic society need to emphasize the cultivation of common values and social moral responsibility of citizens. The content and process of civic moral education should embody citizenship. Social participation is an important way to cultivate citizens' moral practical ability. Global Citizenship Education Discourses in a Province in Northern Italy (International Journal of Development Education and Global Learning; Vol. 12, No. 1) 발행 연도: 2020 저자: Sara Franch 단체 저자: UCL Press While global citizenship education (GCE) is becoming increasingly popular, it is also a complex and ambiguous concept that assumes different meanings. This article explores the dominant discourses that construct GCE in terms of the qualification, socialization and subjectification functions of education. Based on a qualitative study that used constructivist and informed grounded theory, the article focuses on the emergence of GCE in the educational discourse of the Province of Trento in northern Italy. The article shows elements of convergence and divergence between the perspectives of policymakers and teachers, and illustrates how in the discourses the three purposes of GCE – qualification, socialization and subjectification – are deeply intertwined and overlapping.
