The activities encourage all youth to reflect on their own experiences, attitudes and values regarding sexuality; gender; what it means to be a boy/man or girl/woman; domestic and sexual violence; HIV/AIDS, democracy and human rights. It took stock of GCED in the region and discussed how GCED is and could be integrated in curricula and teacher education in the Southern African context to strengthen and expand the existing networks of GCED stakeholders and partners.
