A Study on the Influential Factors of E-learning Opportunity for Elementary School Students: Perspectives from Students, Parents and Schools (Educational Journal ; Vol.45, No.1) Based on the data from students, parents and schools of the 2013 Survey of Student Digital Ability and e-Learning Opportunity from the Academia Sinica’s Survey Research Data Archive, this article constructed a hierarchical linear model to analyze how students’ e-learning opportunity is related to the multilevel influence effects of school- and parent-level covariates. Quantile regression was also used to study different covariate effects at different quantile levels of student e-learning opportunity. Results indicate that: (1) Digital Level Area is a very important influential factor for students’ e-learning opportunity due to the reason that schools in higher Digital Level Area have more digital resources, and students are likely to have more opportunity for access to and frequent use of e-learning; (2) the more IT equipment or IT literacy students have can greatly affect their possession of e-learning opportunity; (3) parents should pay special attention to problems of their children resulting from overuse of e-learning resources which could cause harm to their children both mentally and physically; moreover, schools should widely promote the awareness of personal information security to students; (4) in order to eliminate the digital divide caused by Digital Level Area, schools need to strengthen the integration of software and information technology into instruction as far as possible. Transforming Education Together: The Global Education Coalition in Action UNESCO The Global Education Coalition, launched by UNESCO, is a platform for col-laboration and exchange to protect the right to education during this unprec-edented disruption and beyond. This is the fourth progress report of the Coalition and builds on the inaugural document released in September 2020 and the first annual report published in March 2021. National Distance Learning Programmes in Response to the COVID-19 Education Disruption: Case Study of the Republic of Korea UNESCO This document is one of several case studies on national distance learning programmes in response to the COVID-19 education disruptions. The case of the Republic of Korea was drawn from the 2020 edition of Mobile Learning Week, organized online in October 2020 under the theme of 'Beyond Disruption: Technology Enabled Learning Futures'. Envisaged to be a continuously enriched mechanism for knowledge sharing and dissemination, the case studies aim to surface best practices worldwide in leveraging digital technology to build inclusive and crisis-resilient learning systems, and to inform the planning of digital transformation of education towards SDG 4 and the futures of learning. Each case study documents governance and funding mechanisms, needs-driven planning of distance learning solutions, evaluation of digital learning’s effects on mitigating disruptions and ensuring inclusion, and pedagogical innovations to maintain or improve the quality of learning.  Smart Education Strategies for Teaching and Learning: Critical Analytical Framework and Case Studies UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education (IITE) | Beijing Normal University This electronic publication about smart education strategies for building the resilience of education and training systems in the postpandemic environment provides a framework to develop appropriate policy and strategy in existing and emerging forms of schooling, higher education, technical and vocational education, and training (TVET), adult education and lifelong learning, including formal, nonformal and informal educational environments. The publication reviews the status of smart education policies in 10 countries. Global Education Monitoring Report 2023, Southeast Asia: Technology in Education; A Tool on Whose Terms? Год публикации: 2023 Организация-автор: Global Education Monitoring Report Team | Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) Developed in partnership with the Southeast Asia Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO), and with the contribution of EdTech Hub, the fifth regional report focuses on technology in education in Southeast Asia. Characterized by a variety of contexts and resources, Southeast Asia has experienced a rapid growth in digital technology applications. In education, digital technologies have been identified for their potential to transform education and meet the region’s development aspirations. The regional report investigates both challenges and potentials, which technology as a tool and as a process can potentially contribute to, across and within countries, and education levels. The regional report on Southeast Asia covers 11 countries, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste and Viet Nam. Extensive background research informs the regional analysis: 9 country case-studies compiled by local research teams and independent experts; 5 thematic studies produced by SEAMEO centers on open and distance learning, technology for students with disabilities, integration of technology in teaching practices, key policies issues in ICT in education; technology in technical and vocational education and training, and 3 research inputs on ICT in education practices produced by SEAMEO affiliate members and partners. Global Education Monitoring Report 2023: Technology in Education; A Tool on Whose Terms? UNESCO | Global Education Monitoring Report Team This report recommends that technology should be introduced into education on the basis of evidence showing that it would be appropriate, equitable, scalable and sustainable. In other words, its use should be in learners’ best interests and should complement face-to-face interaction with teachers. It should be seen as a tool to be used on these terms. Midway to the deadline, the 2023 Global Education Monitoring Report assesses the distance still to go to reach the 2030 education targets. Education is the key to unlocking the achievement of other development objectives, not least the goal of technological progress.
