OCHA) A snapshot of the global trends driving increased humanitarian needs in 2025, analysis from 2024 and an overview of where the system is delivering better to help those affected by crises. The Global Humanitarian Overview (GHO) is the world’s most comprehensive, authoritative and evidence-based assessment of humanitarian need. Through plans that prioritize those most in need, it aims to fight hunger, killer diseases, gender-based violence and displacement. The GHO 2025 presents an analysis of global crises and needs and the humanitarian plans to address them. In 2025, humanitarian partners are appealing for over US$47 billion to assist nearly 190 million people facing life-threatening and urgent needs across 72 countries. The report looks at response trends to strengthen, such as localization, cash, accountability and the changes needed to deliver aid effectively: security and funding. The GHO presents a collective picture of humanitarians' achievements and, conversely, what happens when humanitarians are unable to deliver aid. Inclusion Beyond Borders: What Is Needed to Recognize, Validate and Accredit the Prior Learning of Migrants and Refugees? (Lifelong Learning Policy Brief; 15) Год публикации: 2024 Организация-автор: UIS This policy brief provides insights regarding four principal areas of action for policy-makers and other key stakeholders who seek to build the recognition, validation and accreditation (RVA) systems that cater to the needs of migrants and refugees as distinct groups. It highlights the importance of developing an integrated national policy approach that supports sustainable implementation of RVA practices inclusive of newcomers from different walks of life. It also looks at establishing a clear, shared vision for a comprehensive RVA system that is inclusive of both migrants and refugees, reflected in key building blocks. It explores the creation of quality processes to assess the skills, competencies and potential of individuals from diverse backgrounds accurately and professionally, through flexible, accessible practices. Finally, it evaluates how RVA outreach and counselling mechanisms that cater to both migrants and refugees can be incorporated.

Ha sido desarrollado por un grupo internacional e intercultural de investigadores de medios, educadores de medios y profesionales mediáticos.Las y los profesores de Periodismo podrán poner en marcha un nuevo plan de estudios. Estudiantes de periodismo aprenderán que la migración y el desplazamiento forzado tratan sobre seres humanos y, por lo tanto, requieren conocimiento y conciencia de los hechos precisos, fuentes confiables, informes éticos y buenas prácticas. Cet ensemble de treize modules constitue un cursus complet. Il couvre tous les aspects nécessaires pour enseigner l'analyse, la recherche documentaire, la mise en forme, le démarchage des organes de presse et l'éthique de la couverture des migrations. Unique en son genre, il intègre les connaissances issues des champs de la communication et des sciences politiques et sociales. Il a été conçu par un groupe international et interculturel de chercheurs, de formateurs et de journalistes.Les enseignants seront à même de lancer un programme d'études innovant. Les étudiants apprendront que les questions de migration et de déplacement forcé concernent des êtres humains et nécessitent donc une connaissance et une attention particulière à l'exactitude des faits, à la fiabilité des sources, à l'éthique de la collecte d'informations et aux bonnes pratiques en la matière. Les journalistes expérimentés y trouveront un outil d'auto-apprentissage. Она охватывает все аспекты, необходимые для обучения анализу, исследованиям, презентации, маркетингу и этике освещения миграции.Справочник уникален тем, что в нем собраны результаты исследований в области коммуникации, а также политических и социальных наук. Он был разработан международной и межкультурной группой исследователей медиа, медиапедагогов и медиапрактиков.Преподаватели журналистики получат возможность запустить новую учебную программу. Студенты-журналисты узнают, что вопросы миграции и вынужденного перемещения касаются человека и поэтому требуют знания и осведомленности о точных фактах, надежных источниках, этичном освещении и надлежащей практике. Educational Route: Lessons Learned Год публикации: 2024 Организация-автор: Save the Children This report, prepared by Save the Children in partnership with HIAS and funded by ECHO, sets out the main lessons learned from the Educational Route project, which has had areas of intervention in Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. The objective of the project has been to contribute to reducing barriers to access to education for children, adolescents and families on the move along the Central American migratory routes. Within the framework of the project, a methodological package has been created containing an evaluation tool “HALDO on the move” (Holistic Assessment of Learning and Development Outcomes) that allows different humanitarian actors to quickly assess the educational level of children and adolescents and record their data on a platform in order to offer an emergency education response adapted to real learning needs, as well as achieve greater coordination to promote educational continuity along the route. El objetivo del proyecto ha sido contribuir a reducir las barreras de acceso a la educación de niños, niñas, adolescentes y familias en movimiento en las rutas migratorias centroamericanas, y en el marco del mismo se ha creado un paquete metodológico que contiene una herramienta de evaluación “HALDO on the move” (Holistic Assessment of Learning and Development Outcomes) que permite a los diferentes actores humanitarios evaluar rápidamente el nivel educativo de los niños, niñas y adolescentes y registrar sus datos en una plataforma con el fin de ofrecer una respuesta de educación en emergencias adaptada a las necesidades de aprendizaje reales, así como lograr una mayor coordinación para promover la continuidad educativa a lo largo de la ruta.
