La « media and information literacy » (MIL en abrégé, alors qu’en français on utilise l’acronyme EMI, pour éducation aux médias et à l’information) est la capacité de comprendre comment les médias fonctionnent et comment ils peuvent être utilisés pour participer au débat public. L’EMI inclut les médias sociaux comme Facebook, ainsi que les médias traditionnels comme les livres, les journaux, la radio et la télévision.Education aux médias et à l’information – Un manuel pratique pour formateurs fournit aux formateurs en EMI des informations générales, ainsi que des idées, des méthodes et des feuilles de travail pour leurs formations. Le livre fournit également des exemples de plans de formation pour aider à déterminer le temps nécessaire pour aborder chaque aspect particulier de l’éducation aux médias et à l’information.

Promoting Global Citizenship Education in Arab Universities: A Regional Outlook Год публикации: 2022 Организация-автор: UNESCO Beirut To better understand the situation of GCED in Arab universities, UNESCO commissioned a study to analyse: 1. If GCED is enshrined in their policies, visions, missions, values, objectives, and strategic goals and plans; 2. If students perceive that their universities are developing the learning outcomes of GCED.The study, carried out by UNESCO in 2021, analysed the strategic documents and plans of 34 universities from 17 countries in the Arab region. A survey was also administered to 336 students, primarily in Oman but also including students at several other universities in the Arab region. 
The Issues of Improving the Inclusive Education System in Uzbekistan (Open Education; vol. 26, no. 2) Год публикации: 2022 Автор: Makhmutkhodjaeva L.S. The article explores the experience of foreign and Central Asian countries in developing inclusive education. Especially, the situation with the education of persons with disabilities in Uzbekistan is being reviewed, besides, the access of children to get an education, as well as receiving vocational and higher education is being studied in addition to the legislative framework in this specialty. It is noted that the problem of education for disabled people is one of the central issues for the republic. В статье исследуется опыт зарубежных стран и стран Центральной Азии в развитии инклюзивного образования. Отдельно рассматривается ситуация с обучение лиц с инвалидностью в Узбекистане, анализируется доступ детей к получению образования, а также получение профессионального и высшего образования, изучается законодательная база в этом направлении. Отмечается, что проблема образования лиц с ограниченными возможностями здоровья является одной из центральных вопросов для республики.

As of 2021, there are at least 67 TNIHEs in the five Central Asian republics. Beneath the surface, however, many problems lurk, as TNIHEs struggle to maintain their capacity and provide quality education, while local governments pursue contradictory policies, that complicate the situation. По состоянию на 2021 год в пяти республиках Центральной Азии насчитывается по меньшей мере 67 ТНВУЗ. Однако под поверхностью этого факта скрываются многочисленные проблемы, поскольку ТНВУЗ борются за то, чтобы поддерживать свои возможности и предоставлять качественное образование, в то время как местные органы власти проводят противоречивые стратегии, которые усложняют ситуацию.
