Technology and Values-Driven Transformation in Education (Journal of Southeast Asian Education: The Official Journal Of SEAMEO; Vol. 1, Special issue) Год публикации: 2023 Организация-автор: Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) The 11th SEAMEO-University of Tsukuba Symposium under the theme Technology and Values Driven Transformation in Education held on 20-22 February 2023 successfully engaged over 19,860 participants from 45 countries. With 30 speakers from 10 countries, the symposium provided the platform to share and exchange best practices carried out by schools and universities apart from identifying the challenges encountered by teachers, students and academicians. SEAMEO and UT have selected quality articles emerging from the symposium and put them together in the Journal of Southeast Asian Education. For example: - Lifelong Learning in the Digital Age- A Breakthrough of Values-Driven Strategies in Using Multimedia-Based Instruction (MMBI): A Course Towards Sustainable Transformative Education- Leave No One Behind: The Solution to an Inclusive Future- Unplugged Computational Thinking with Colouring Books 
Global Education Monitoring Report 2023: Technology in Education; A Tool on Whose Terms? Год публикации: 2023 Организация-автор: UNESCO | Global Education Monitoring Report Team This report recommends that technology should be introduced into education on the basis of evidence showing that it would be appropriate, equitable, scalable and sustainable. In other words, its use should be in learners’ best interests and should complement face-to-face interaction with teachers. It should be seen as a tool to be used on these terms. Midway to the deadline, the 2023 Global Education Monitoring Report assesses the distance still to go to reach the 2030 education targets. Education is the key to unlocking the achievement of other development objectives, not least the goal of technological progress. 
International Trends of Lifelong Learning in Higher Education: Research Report Год публикации: 2023 Организация-автор: UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) | Shanghai Open University Against the background of a global education crisis and a growing recognition of the importance of lifelong learning, the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) and the Shanghai Open University (SOU) conducted a comprehensive research project from 2020 to 2022 that included, among other components, an international survey on the contribution of higher education institutions to lifelong learning, the results of which are presented in this report. Based on the comprehensive sets of quantitative and qualitative data collected across all world regions, this research constitutes a major step forward in building an international knowledge base on the role of HEIs in establishing lifelong learning opportunities for all.

Les équipes de journalistes et d’enquêteurs de l'ONG peignent un portrait plutôt sombre, avec notamment un recul du droit des femmes, les conséquences dramatiques du réchauffement climatique sur les populations les plus vulnérables, le recul du droit de manifester, ou encore la prolifération de la haine en ligne dans le monde. La multiplication des conflits armés et le choc du 7 octobre ont également eu des conséquences dramatiques. Cependant, quelques bonnes nouvelles sont aussi à noter, avec des avancées pour les droits des personnes LGBTI par exemple. TheNGO's teams of journalists and investigators paint a rather gloomy picture, with, in particular, a decline in women's rights, the dramatic consequences of global warming on the most vulnerable populations, a decline in the right to protest, and the proliferation of online hate around the world. The multiplication of armed conflicts and the shock of October 7 have also had dramatic consequences. Survey on Privacy in Media and Information Literacy with Youth Perspectives Год публикации: 2017 Автор: Sherri Hope Culver | Alton Grizzle Организация-автор: UNESCO Media and information literate individuals are more empowered to make informed decisions about their privacy online and offline, among other things. Accordingly, governments and policy-makers who are committed to ensuring that the privacy of citizens is respected should also be committed to media and information literacy (MIL) for all. If they are not, then their efforts will be less sustainable. Equally, private and public enterprises that genuinely want to respect the privacy of citizens should purposefully contribute to MIL awareness among users qua citizens. Two research surveys are referenced in this report. The first investigated youth attitudes towards MIL and social and democratic discourses. One of the seven themes addressed in the context of social and democratic discourses was privacy. The research was carried out by UNESCO. The second survey studied privacy in MIL courses globally and was conducted for UNESCO by the UNESCO-UNAOC University Network on Media and Information Literacy and Intercultural dialogue (MILID Network), and members of the Global Alliance for Partnerships in Media and Information Literacy (GAPMIL). The report responds to UNESCO’s efforts to stimulate global research into privacy in MIL. Ultimately, this report aims to provide conceptual, development and policy recommendations to foster privacy in MIL, while enabling the critical engagement of people, including young women and men, in an environment conducive to sustainable development and to freedom of expression online and offline. It seeks to provide clarity on the complex issue of how MIL and privacy intersect.
