Les équipes de journalistes et d’enquêteurs de l'ONG peignent un portrait plutôt sombre, avec notamment un recul du droit des femmes, les conséquences dramatiques du réchauffement climatique sur les populations les plus vulnérables, le recul du droit de manifester, ou encore la prolifération de la haine en ligne dans le monde. La multiplication des conflits armés et le choc du 7 octobre ont également eu des conséquences dramatiques. Cependant, quelques bonnes nouvelles sont aussi à noter, avec des avancées pour les droits des personnes LGBTI par exemple. Amnesty International Report describes the human rights situation worldwide in 2023 in 155 different countries. TheNGO's teams of journalists and investigators paint a rather gloomy picture, with, in particular, a decline in women's rights, the dramatic consequences of global warming on the most vulnerable populations, a decline in the right to protest, and the proliferation of online hate around the world. The multiplication of armed conflicts and the shock of October 7 have also had dramatic consequences. However, there is some good news too, with advances in LGBTI rights for example. How Are Vocational Institutions Innovating, Evolving and Changing as a Result of COVID-19?: A Study of Practice and Perspectives in Five Countries Год публикации: 2021 Организация-автор: British Council As an international problem, Covid-19 requires international cooperation. The social, economic and educational recovery from the pandemic can be enhanced by knowledge transfer and exchange. This research brought together 15 technical and vocational education and training (TVET) institutions from the five countries in the British Council’s I-WORK Programme (Improving Work Opportunities - Relaying Knowledge) to explore innovation, evolution and change stemming from the pandemic. TVET practitioners and leaders from Ghana, India, Malaysia, South Africa and the UK were asked to reflect on five key questions: How are institutional policy and structures likely to change to reflect the changing situation? Is this different for private institutions? What changes are proposed to the curriculum/ occupational areas to reflect the rapidly changing demand and how are they identifying this demand? How will learners get the practical and work-based experience they need and what changes to work- based learning and apprenticeships are needed? What changes are needed to the skills and type of staff in the teaching institution? How can new delivery models and ways of working promote more inclusive practice? The research took place as institutions approached almost a year of adapting their teaching, learning and support to localised lockdowns and the restrictions of the pandemic. The national policy context may have been different in each country, but the research findings pointed to a single conclusion: that across the board, the move to digital learning and teaching had brought benefits, opportunities and challenges that might not otherwise have been realised.

This work is an effort to outline the most significant environmental issues in the region and to analyze measures to solve them. In addition, it attempts to highlight cases of successful practice as well as to identify existing programs with significant shortcomings.The work is meant for young experts and consultants, researchers, decision-makers, as well as a wide range of readers interested in environmental issues and governance in Central Asia. October, 2011. The symposium was organized by the Finnish National Board of Education (FNBE), the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, GENE (Global Education Network Europe) and the Hanasaari Swedish- Finnish Cultural Centre.The symposium focused on three main questions, namely:• what is global education?• what are key competences of global citizens in general education?• how can the priorities of global education be supported nationally?This publication contains the proceedings and main information gathered in the symposium. From Finland’s point of view the Symposium provided a substantial contribution to the publication called Schools Reaching out to a Global World. The publication comprises several articles on competencies of global citizens serving the next curricular reform of the entire general education sector for Finland, to be fully implemented by 2016. From the international perspectives the Symposium meant a most relevant input into the pan-European debate on perspectives for Global Education.
