Les équipes de journalistes et d’enquêteurs de l'ONG peignent un portrait plutôt sombre, avec notamment un recul du droit des femmes, les conséquences dramatiques du réchauffement climatique sur les populations les plus vulnérables, le recul du droit de manifester, ou encore la prolifération de la haine en ligne dans le monde. La multiplication des conflits armés et le choc du 7 octobre ont également eu des conséquences dramatiques. Cependant, quelques bonnes nouvelles sont aussi à noter, avec des avancées pour les droits des personnes LGBTI par exemple. Amnesty International Report describes the human rights situation worldwide in 2023 in 155 different countries. TheNGO's teams of journalists and investigators paint a rather gloomy picture, with, in particular, a decline in women's rights, the dramatic consequences of global warming on the most vulnerable populations, a decline in the right to protest, and the proliferation of online hate around the world. The multiplication of armed conflicts and the shock of October 7 have also had dramatic consequences. However, there is some good news too, with advances in LGBTI rights for example. 
Reimagining Social Policies to Support Families in China: A Research Report Год публикации: 2023 Организация-автор: 联合国儿童基金会驻华办事处 There have been significant changes in the population and society in China over recent decades. The birth rate has declined, and the population has aged. The average family size shrank from 3.1 people in 2010 to 2.8 in 2022[i], and the one-child policy has been reversed. Urbanization, rural-urban migration and the growth of the informal sector have changed how people live and work. Gender inequality persists, with women frequently facing discrimination and barriers to employment. All these changes have implications for family policy – statutory policies and government-led programmes that aim to improve conditions for adult family members, particularly those caring for children up to the age of 18.A new report, ‘Reimaging Social Policies to Support Families in China’ by UNICEF synthesizes the context and challenges of family policies in China and reviews over 180 evaluations of family policies worldwide. Survey on Privacy in Media and Information Literacy with Youth Perspectives Год публикации: 2017 Автор: Sherri Hope Culver | Alton Grizzle Организация-автор: UNESCO Media and information literate individuals are more empowered to make informed decisions about their privacy online and offline, among other things. Accordingly, governments and policy-makers who are committed to ensuring that the privacy of citizens is respected should also be committed to media and information literacy (MIL) for all. If they are not, then their efforts will be less sustainable. Equally, private and public enterprises that genuinely want to respect the privacy of citizens should purposefully contribute to MIL awareness among users qua citizens. Two research surveys are referenced in this report. The first investigated youth attitudes towards MIL and social and democratic discourses. One of the seven themes addressed in the context of social and democratic discourses was privacy. The research was carried out by UNESCO. The second survey studied privacy in MIL courses globally and was conducted for UNESCO by the UNESCO-UNAOC University Network on Media and Information Literacy and Intercultural dialogue (MILID Network), and members of the Global Alliance for Partnerships in Media and Information Literacy (GAPMIL). The report responds to UNESCO’s efforts to stimulate global research into privacy in MIL. Ultimately, this report aims to provide conceptual, development and policy recommendations to foster privacy in MIL, while enabling the critical engagement of people, including young women and men, in an environment conducive to sustainable development and to freedom of expression online and offline. It seeks to provide clarity on the complex issue of how MIL and privacy intersect.

The 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals gives opportunities for the consolidation of the Education for Global Citizenship.
