Este trabajo se basó en un enfoque holístico orientado al desarrollo de una mirada crítica y transformadora, y en la promoción de la participación ciuda-dana.Nuestro planteo fue que cada participante diseñe una propuesta pedagógica innova-dora en Educación para la Sustentabilidad, que responda a las particularidades de su institución de pertenencia, pero que a la vez pueda ser replicada por otras institu-ciones y actores. De esta forma, se deja capacidad instalada para la planificación e implementación de proyectos educativos orientados a la promoción de la Educación para la Sustentabilidad. Mediante las suce-sivas ediciones del programa, buscamos fortalecer una masa crítica de especialistas en Educación para la Sustentabilidad como apoyo a la calidad del sistema educativo en Argentina, conformando una Comunidad Profesional de Aprendizaje que reconozca a nuestro programa como un espacio de encuentro y referencia.

This results from combining three perspectives: the first, human rights--in a strict sense--the second, fundamental liberties--stressing its possibilities and requirements--and the third, the United Nations system--understanding the way in which it is committed to achieving peace.International education is education for international understanding. This understanding must impregnate all of its educational systems, actions and materials. It is not a separate course. Instead, it must be present in all courses. International education or education for international understanding is the entire programme, the motivation behind any teaching & learning process. This course explains ideas and models that UNESCO has worked with in order to clarify what it aims for in education. This is seen through the resolutions of the general conferences and the Executive Board decisions, which are UNESCO´s framework in defining international education. [Video] Global Citizenship Education for a just, peaceful, inclusive and sustainable world: a conceptual framework and its application in the field Год публикации: 2015 Организация-автор: United Nations (UN) The Seminar held at UN HQs entitled, "Global Citizenship Education for a Just, Peaceful, Inclusive, and Sustainable world: A Conceptual Framework and its Application in the Field" was co-organized by the Permanent Missions of France, Nigeria, Qatar and the Republic of Korea, the United States Mission and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), in support of the Secretary-General’s Global Education First Initiative (GEFI).The panel discussion was moderated by H.E. Ambassador Hahn Choong‐hee of Korea. Some of the speakers for this event included H.E. Ambassador Richard Erdman, Acting Representative to ECOSOC of the Permanent Mission of the United States of America to the United Nations; H.E. Ambassador Usman Sarki, Deputy Permanent Representative of the Permanent Mission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the United Nations; Yousef Laram, Deputy Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations; Mr. Francois Gave, Counsellor at the Permanent Mission of France to the United Nations; and Christopher Castle, Chief of UNESCO’s Section of Global Citizenship Education.This event was divided into two segments. In the first, GCED was discussed at the level of concept. How can it strengthen the three pillars of the United Nations and the three pillars of sustainable development in furtherance of a just, peaceful, inclusive and sustainable world. In the second, examples from the field – the local, national and international levels – were presented and discussed as were certain opportunities going forward including the important role of media.
