Ante este nuevo paradigma se encuentran grandes retos como buscar la manera de hacerlos exigibles, ya sea en forma ordinaria o judicial. En este contexto es necesario que algunos de estos derechos estén previstos en nuestra Carta Magna, como el derecho a una pensión o jubilación suficiente que le permita a una persona tener una vida digna después de haber concluido su vida laboral; y es que no hay que olvidar que el derecho a la vida es, por ende, el más importante de los derechos humanos y en consecuencia a que esta sea digna. 
On the Origins of the Globalization Process (Methaodos.revista de ciencias sociales; vol. 1, no. 1) Год публикации: 2013 Автор: Antonio Martín-Cabello Организация-автор: Rey Juan Carlos University This paper tries to define the origins of the globalization process. In order to do this, it has proceeded to review the abundant and scattered scientific literature. The analysis concludes that there are four usual answers about the origins of globalization. Firstly, place it alongside the emergence of the earliest human civilizations. Secondly, link the globalization process with the emergence of the European modernity during the fifteenth century. Thirdly, connect it to the consolidation of the industrial revolution in the nineteenth century. And finally, consider it the last stage of the expansion of global capitalism in the late twentieth century. Afterwards, the paper will attempt to make a critical assessment of these approaches. The article concludes that the latter is the more plausible answer, because it is closer to the available empirical facts and it avoids the pitfalls of teleology. Para ello, se ha procedido a revisar la abundante y dispersa literatura científica disponible. Del análisis realizado se concluye que existen cuatro respuestas habituales sobre los orígenes de la globalización. En primer lugar, situarla junto la aparición de las primeras civilizaciones humanas. En segundo, ligar el proceso de globalización con la aparición de la modernidad europea durante el siglo XV. En tercer lugar, unirla a la consolidación de la revolución industrial en el siglo XIX. Y, por último, considerarla la última etapa de la expansión del capitalismo a escala mundial a finales del siglo XX. Después, se intentará realizar una valoración crítica de estas aproximaciones. El artículo concluye afirmando que la última respuesta es la más plausible, pues se encuentra más cerca de los datos empíricos disponibles y evita las trampas de la teleología.

The Degree of Responsiveness of Palestinian School Curricula in the Basic stage of the Characteristics of Democratic Education from the Point of View of Teachers Год публикации: 2018 Автор: Mahmoud Abdel Majeed Rasheed Assaf Организация-автор: University of Babylon The study aimed to identify the estimates of a sample of the teachers of the basic stage in Gaza Governorate to the degree of responsiveness of the Palestinian school curricula to the characteristics of democratic education and to find out if there were statistically significant differences at the level (α≤ 0.05) of significance Attributable to variables (sex, number of years of service). The researcher followed the analytical descriptive method by applying a questionnaire that included (36) paragraphs on a sample of (419) teachers and teachers from the basic education stage in Gaza governorates. The results showed that the total degree of appreciation of the primary school teachers in Gaza governorate to the extent of the school curricula 'response to the characteristics of democratic education was medium with a relative weight (67.8%). The field of (democratic teacher practices) ranked first, the field of (democratic teaching methods) ranked second, and finally the field (promotion of democratic values) in the last rank, There were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤ 0.05) between the mean scores of the ratings due to the variables. The study recommended the development of school and classroom activities associated with representative curricula, such as class councils, student unions and participation groups.

Este artículo promueve la discusión crítica del papel de lo sustentable en el acontecer del desarrollo de la sociedad, considerando que éste concepto contempla cambios importantes en la contemporaneidad respecto a los valores de la sociedad.

This is why UNESCO puts special emphasis on education about media and information, which it considers a fundamental skill for citizens in the twenty-first century.Freedom of expression and the free movement of ideas by words and images are among the constitutive principles of UNESCO and at the core of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. UNESCO supports the work of dedicated journalists and activists who defend fundamental freedoms, like the journalist Dawit Isaak, winner of the 2017 UNESCO/ Guillermo Cano World Press Freedom Prize, whose story appears in this issue of the UNESCO Courier.Over the last decade, more than 800 journalists have been victims of crimes aimed at muzzling freedom of expression. Only one murder out of ten ended with a conviction. This impunity is unacceptable and further fuels the spiral of violence in the future. This is why UNESCO is committed to putting an end to these crimes against the press, on all continents, as an indispensable condition for peaceful societies that are all the more robust for being better informed.In this “post-truth” era, the role of UNESCO is more important than ever, and this issue of the Courier is a wonderful opportunity to renew our founding commitment to support information and communication to build peace in the minds of men and women.
