[Video] Contextualizing Sustainable Development Goals Год публикации: 2018 Организация-автор: Akanoo cc The Video is about a lecture talking about how contextualizing Sustainable Development Goals in Bahrain. To make the context, the lecturer started by describing how the Un reached to articulate the SDGs after the last MDGs. Then, the 17 goals were presented in details. In terms of localizing these SDGs, the lecturer gave some strategies on how individuals, companies and the government can implement these SDGs in their context. It is recommended that all members of the Bahraini society should participate in achieving the SDGs to reach to sustainable development. The lecturer also draw attention to some challenges facing Bahrain to achieve SDGs. To overcome these challenges, the lecturer suggested a number of activities to raise awareness among Bahraini people about the importance of participating in achieving SDGs. Finally, how Bahrain can contextualize SDGs is presented.

[Video] Global Sustainable Development Report 2019 Год публикации: 2019 Организация-автор: United Nations (UN) The Global Sustainable Development Report (GSDR ) originated in the Rio + 20 outcome, when Member States were laying the groundwork for the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The negotiators knew that the Agenda would be complex, and unprecedented in ambition, and that the traditional siloed approach to development would not be adequate.They recognised the power of science to understand and navigate relationships among social, environmental and economic development objectives, and so they called for a report to strengthen the science-policy interface.In 2016, Member States decided that the report should be produced once every four years, to inform the quadrennial SDG review deliberations at the General Assembly, and that it should be written by an Independent Group of Scientists appointed by the Secretary-General. They mandated that the Group would consist of 15 experts representing a variety of backgrounds, scientific disciplines and institutions, ensuring geographical and gender balance.

[Video] 국가 지속가능발전목표(K-SDGs) Год публикации: 2019 Организация-автор: 대한민국 환경부 K-SDGs는 국제적 정세에 대응하여 수립한 한국형 SDGs이며, 경제, 사회, 환경 등 국정 전분야를 아울러 대한민국이 가야할 2030년까지 이정표를 설정한 것이다.K-SDGs는 기존에 행정부처에서 각종 정책 및 계획 등을 먼저 수립한 후 관계 전문가와 국민의견을 수렴하는 하향식(Top-down) 방식과는 다른 상향식(Bottom-up) 방식으로 추진되었다. 초안을 마련하는 단계부터 192명의 민간 작업반이 참여하여 우리 사회의 지속가능성을 위해 요구되는 사항들을 반영한 세부목표, 지표체계(안)을 마련했다.
