In Quebec, the Association québécoise des organismes de coopération internationale (AQOCI) organizes this public awareness week. CRÉDIL plays an active role in this campaign, and has participated in the production of comic strips as educational tools, such as "Ère, Terre, Mer" in 2021, which deals with the impact of the climate change on peoples.

Les équipes de journalistes et d’enquêteurs de l'ONG peignent un portrait plutôt sombre, avec notamment un recul du droit des femmes, les conséquences dramatiques du réchauffement climatique sur les populations les plus vulnérables, le recul du droit de manifester, ou encore la prolifération de la haine en ligne dans le monde. La multiplication des conflits armés et le choc du 7 octobre ont également eu des conséquences dramatiques. Cependant, quelques bonnes nouvelles sont aussi à noter, avec des avancées pour les droits des personnes LGBTI par exemple. Amnesty International Report describes the human rights situation worldwide in 2023 in 155 different countries. TheNGO's teams of journalists and investigators paint a rather gloomy picture, with, in particular, a decline in women's rights, the dramatic consequences of global warming on the most vulnerable populations, a decline in the right to protest, and the proliferation of online hate around the world. The multiplication of armed conflicts and the shock of October 7 have also had dramatic consequences. However, there is some good news too, with advances in LGBTI rights for example.

초등 글로벌 이슈 중심 사회과 프로젝트 수업이 세계시민성 함양에 미치는 영향 (시민교육연구; Vol. 56, No. 2) Год публикации: 2024 Автор: 오고은 Организация-автор: 한국사회과교육학회 오늘날 세계화로 인해 상호 의존성과 연결성이 극도로 심화된 상황에서 한 국가의 힘만으로는 해결하기 어려운 여러 글로벌 이슈들이 나타나게 되었다. 이러한 상황에서 사회과의 세계시민교육은 학생들이 글로벌 이슈를 해결하고 세계를 더욱 정의로운 곳으로 만들기 위해 행동할 수 있도록 하는 세계시민성을 함양해야 할 역할을 담당하고 있다. 본 연구는 이에 대응하여 초등학생들의 세계시민성을 함양할 수 있도록 하는 사회과의 효과적인 교수-학습 방법을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 사회과 프로젝트 수업과 이슈 중심 수업(쟁점 중심 수업)을 결합하여 글로벌 이슈 중심 사회과 프로젝트 수업을 제안하였다. 이 수업은 학생 중심으로 글로벌 이슈를 심도 깊게 탐구하고 이를 해결할 수 있는 실천 경험을 풍부하게 제공하여 세계시민성의 인지, 사회-정서, 행동적 영역을 총체적으로 향상시킬 것으로 예상되었다. 실제로 수업 실험을 한 결과, 실험 집단 학생들의 세계시민성을 이루는 인지, 사회-정서, 행동적 영역의 전 영역에서 세계시민성 지표 점수가 향상된 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 글로벌 이슈 중심 사회과 프로젝트 수업이 학생들이 세계화의 시대에 갖추어야 하는 세계시민성을 총체적으로 함양하는 데 매우 효과적인 방식임을 보여준다. 특히, 공교육 상황에서 주로 활용되는 강의식 수업과의 비교에서도 글로벌 이슈 중심 사회과 프로젝트 수업이 세계를 더욱 정의로운 곳으로 변화시키는 역량인 세계시민성의 행동적 영역을 더욱 효과적으로 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로, 오늘날 세계에서 행동적 영역의 세계시민성 함양이 더욱 강조되는 상황에 비추어, 본 연구에서 제시하는 글로벌 이슈 중심 사회과 프로젝트 수업을 세계시민교육에서 더욱 적극적으로 활용해야 할 당위성이 제기된다.
