En esta guía pretendemos ofrecer algunas claves para trabajar contra los discursos de odio en y a través del ámbito educativo, entendiendo que la prevención es fundamental para acabar con ellos. Para ello es necesario abordarlos directamente, como hacemos en el primer bloque; pero también a través de una educación intercultural que vaya eliminando los estereotipos y prejuicios, tal y como explicamos en el segundo bloque; y a través de actividades prácticas que exponemos en el último bloque.

Its objective is to provide teachers with very practical and useful strategies to effectively manage coexistence in the classroom. It is a proposal to address coexistence from a preventive, participatory and people-centered dimension, which conceives coexistence not only as an objective but as an object of intentional learning, which perceives conflict as an opportunity and with an inclusive and restorative perspective, betting on a restorative approach. In the guide you can find practical activities, the purpose of which is to guide educational centers to know and implement the restorative model, through a series of resources that range from the analysis of coexistence to restorative conversations to resolve daily conflicts. Cuyo objetivo es dotar al profesorado de estrategias muy prácticas y útiles para gestionar de forma eficaz la convivencia en las aulas. Es una propuesta para abordar la convivencia desde una dimensión preventiva, participativa y centrada en las personas, que concibe la convivencia no solo como un objetivo sino como un objeto de aprendizaje intencional, que percibe el conflicto como oportunidad y con una perspectiva inclusiva y reparadora, apostando por un enfoque restaurativo. En la guía se pueden encontrar actividades prácticas, cuya finalidad es orientar a los centros educativos a conocer e implementar el modelo restaurativo, a través de una serie de recursos que van desde el análisis de la convivencia hasta las conversaciones restaurativas para resolver conflictos cotidianos.

Media and Information Literacy (MIL) has become an essential competency, enabling them to critically navigate the overwhelming ow of information in our fast-paced and complex information ecosystem. \With the Internet user base getting younger every day — data shows that one in three internet users is a child — countries worldwide are increasingly working on integrating MIL into their education systems. Despite these advancements, many young people still grapple with challenges such as disinformation, hate speech, and other harmful online content. Additionally, new technologies continue to emerge, creating challenges with unknown impacts. For example, 80% of young people aged 10 to 24 use AI multiple times a day for education, entertainment, and other purposes. Global youth organizations are at the forefront of UNESCO’s eorts to promote MIL among young people through informal education. This toolkit serves as a primary resource to help these organizations incorporate MIL into their strategies, policies, and operations, aiming to make MIL a lasting component of their practices and peer-to-peer educational programs.
