From Civic Education to Citizenship Education: Citizenship Values in the Geography Curriculum; The Problem of Understanding and Downloading (International Journal of Educational and Psychological Studies; vol. 6, no. 17) Год публикации: 2022 Автор: Al-Hassan Farkakoum Организация-автор: Democratic Arab Center This paper aims to contribute to revealing the extent to which the values of citizenship and human rights are present in the social studies lesson in Moroccan public schools, specifically in the middle school education curriculum. The inclusion of human rights values at this level raises several problems that lead to two complementary trends: The first is related to the didactics of human rights and citizenship education, and the second trend is related to the extent of the learner’s ability to acquire and represent the values of citizenship and transform them into automatic daily behaviors and practices in the school environment and then after that in daily public life and private transactions.

Also, it aimed to compare between growth rate on the secular trend of the time series towards the most important educational factors at Literacy and Adult Learning Education at the different phases. Time series was used to analyze Literacy and Adult Learning Education’s statistics; which were taken from Ministry of Education in Kuwait, from 2014 to 2019. The study showed several results such as most of the educational factors’ growth rates were low. In addition, it appeared that most of the predictive values from 2020 to 2024 were degreased. The growth rate for the total centers for adult learning was- 2.7%; whereas, it was- 3.7% for classes. Also, the growth rate for the total of students was- 1.9%. The last but not the least, the growth rate for the total of teachers was the lowest which was- 6.0%. Several recommendations and suggestions were given based on the results of this study.

세계시민성 함양을 위한 교육의 포용적 접근 방향 탐색 (글로벌교육연구; Vol. 16, No.2) Год публикации: 2024 Автор: 송슬기 | 손민호 Организация-автор: 글로벌교육연구학회 빠르고 복잡한 변화와 불확실성의 확대는 현대사회의 특징 가운데 하나다. 개인성과 다양성이 심화되어가는 맥락에서 배타적 문화와 분쟁 역시 드물지 않게 접할 수 있는 오늘날, 인간에게 요구되는 소양이 무엇인가에 대한 고민은 세계시민성의 요구로 귀결되어 왔다. 이 연구는 사회 변화에 따른 포용적 가치를 요구하는 교육으로 세계시민성 함양을 위한 교육에 관한 폭넓은 문헌 분석에 기초하였다. 그리고 문헌 분석을 선행연구 수준에서 논의되었던 세계시민교육에 대한 요구와 국내 현황을 정리한 후, 최근의 UNESCO, OCED를 비롯한 교육 연구자들이 가치와 태도로서 세계시민성을 다루고 있는 연구 동향에 대해 살피며 세계시민교육의 실천적 접근 방향에 대해 탐색한 바 있다. 그 결과 연구는 세계시민성 함양을 위한 교육의 방향으로 교과의 층위를 넘어서서 범교과적인 가치와 전략으로서 교수학습 및 평가 문화의 개선, 학급 문화를 통한 다양성과 보편성에 대한 경험 등을 채워나가는 것의 방법을 제안하였다. 이 연구는 세계시민성 함양을 위한 이론적 논의와 더불어 실천적 논의를 보고자 하였다는 데 의의가 있다. 그러나 한편으로는 포괄적인 교육과정 층위에서의 접근을 취했다는 점에서 구체적 실행연구를 실시하지 못했다는 한계 역시 갖는다. 연구는 이를 바탕으로 세계시민성 함양을 위한 교육문화의 조성에 기여할 수 있는 구체적 실행연구의 필요성을 제안하였다. 
유아교사들의 유아세계시민교육 인식과 실천 방안 탐색 (교육문화연구; Vol. 30, No. 3) Год публикации: 2024 Автор: 나예원 | 김고은 Организация-автор: 인하대학교 교육연구소 본 연구는 유아교사들의 유아세계시민교육에 대한 인식과 실천 방안에 대해 질적으로 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 현장에서 유아세계시민교육을 실행하고 있는 유아교사 5명을 대상으로 개별 심층면담을 2회 실시하였다. 구조적 코딩과 내성 코딩을 사용하여 수집된 자료로부터 개념을 도출하고, 반복적으로 재범주화를 수행하여 최종 주제를 도출하였다. 분석 결과, 유아교사들은 아는 만큼 세계시민교육이 달라지며, 유아세계시민교육이 포괄적인 내용을 담고 있어 다른 교육들과의 연결 속에서 교육과정 전 과정에서 통합적으로 접근할 필요가 있다고 인식하였다. 또한 유아교사들은 이러한 유아세계시민교육이 모든 연령의 유아를 위한 교육이라고 인식하고 있었다. 구체적인 실천 방안을 살펴보면, 유아교사들은 유아의 관심을 파악하고, 관심을 더 끌어내기도 하며, 학급의 문제에 유아를 참여시키고, 세계시민교육의 핵심 개념을 짚어주고, 일상에서 가르칠만한 순간을 적절히 활용하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 유아교사의 목소리를 통해 유아교육현장에 적합한 세계시민교육 적용 가능성 및 구체적인 방안에 대한 시사점을 얻고 교사 지원방안을 마련하는 데 기반을 제공해 준다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

초등 글로벌 이슈 중심 사회과 프로젝트 수업이 세계시민성 함양에 미치는 영향 (시민교육연구; Vol. 56, No. 2) Год публикации: 2024 Автор: 오고은 Организация-автор: 한국사회과교육학회 오늘날 세계화로 인해 상호 의존성과 연결성이 극도로 심화된 상황에서 한 국가의 힘만으로는 해결하기 어려운 여러 글로벌 이슈들이 나타나게 되었다. 이러한 상황에서 사회과의 세계시민교육은 학생들이 글로벌 이슈를 해결하고 세계를 더욱 정의로운 곳으로 만들기 위해 행동할 수 있도록 하는 세계시민성을 함양해야 할 역할을 담당하고 있다. 본 연구는 이에 대응하여 초등학생들의 세계시민성을 함양할 수 있도록 하는 사회과의 효과적인 교수-학습 방법을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 사회과 프로젝트 수업과 이슈 중심 수업(쟁점 중심 수업)을 결합하여 글로벌 이슈 중심 사회과 프로젝트 수업을 제안하였다. 이 수업은 학생 중심으로 글로벌 이슈를 심도 깊게 탐구하고 이를 해결할 수 있는 실천 경험을 풍부하게 제공하여 세계시민성의 인지, 사회-정서, 행동적 영역을 총체적으로 향상시킬 것으로 예상되었다. 실제로 수업 실험을 한 결과, 실험 집단 학생들의 세계시민성을 이루는 인지, 사회-정서, 행동적 영역의 전 영역에서 세계시민성 지표 점수가 향상된 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 글로벌 이슈 중심 사회과 프로젝트 수업이 학생들이 세계화의 시대에 갖추어야 하는 세계시민성을 총체적으로 함양하는 데 매우 효과적인 방식임을 보여준다. 특히, 공교육 상황에서 주로 활용되는 강의식 수업과의 비교에서도 글로벌 이슈 중심 사회과 프로젝트 수업이 세계를 더욱 정의로운 곳으로 변화시키는 역량인 세계시민성의 행동적 영역을 더욱 효과적으로 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로, 오늘날 세계에서 행동적 영역의 세계시민성 함양이 더욱 강조되는 상황에 비추어, 본 연구에서 제시하는 글로벌 이슈 중심 사회과 프로젝트 수업을 세계시민교육에서 더욱 적극적으로 활용해야 할 당위성이 제기된다.
