Cette exploration dans les années à venir sera la base pour les programmes de NCDO dans le domaine de la recherche, la formation du personnel, et le partage des connaissances. NCDO a la tâche importante d'engager les gens dans ces deux grands changements en perspective: qu'est-ce que cela veut dire, combien il est important pour nous, comment pouvons-nous y contribuer? NCDO estime qu'il lui incombe de sensibiliser les citoyens néerlandais de la connexion croissante et la dépendance mutuelle entre les peuples à travers le monde, ainsi que pour leur faire connaître les possibilités qu'ils ont pour aider à résoudre les problèmes mondiaux. En d'autres termes: NCDO vise à faire progresser la dimension globale de la citoyenneté aux Pays-Bas. Mais qu'est-ce que la dimension mondiale de la citoyenneté? Malgré la prise de conscience de l'importance de la citoyenneté mondiale, une définition claire et largement acceptée du concept fait toujours défaut (Hart, 2011). À ce jour, le concept est souvent expliqué à l'aide des exemples et des domaines d'intervention. Cette publication présentera la définition de la citoyenneté mondiale qui NCDO emploiera dans la période à venir.

Global Citizenship: A Study on the Socio-political Identities in an Interconnected World 出版年份: 2017 作者: Antonio Martín-Cabello This paper aims to study the possible emergence of a new type of citizenship: global citizenship. For some time much of the literature in social science has related a weakening of nation-state and national-citizenship as a result of the globalization process. The consequence would be an increase in cosmopolitanism and emergence of a global citizenship identity. This, in principle, would be especially pronounced amongst the most globalized groups. The paper discusses two of these: backpackers and corporate expatriates. However, we show here that contradictory features arise when the available empirical evidence is studied. Both backpackers and corporate expatriates share a cosmopolitan rhetoric that has no clear correlation with the areas of social practice. Ciudadanía global. Un estudio sobre las identidades sociopolíticas en un mundo interconectado 出版年份: 2017 作者: Antonio Martín-Cabello Este artículo pretende realizar un estudio sobre la posible aparición de un nuevo tipo de ciudadanía: la ciudadanía global. Buena parte de la bibliografía de ciencias sociales lleva tiempo anunciando el debilitamiento del estado-nación y de la ciudadanía nacional como resultado del proceso de globalización. La consecuencia sería el aumento del cosmopolitismo y la emergencia de una identidad ciudadana global. Esta sería, en principio, especialmente acusada entre los colectivos más globalizados. En el artículo se analizarán dos: los mochileros y los expatriados corporativos. Sin embargo, se intentará mostrar que cuando se utiliza la evidencia empírica disponible existen rasgos contradictorios. Tanto los mochileros como los expatria- dos corporativos comparten una retórica cosmopolita que no tiene un correlato tan claro en la esfera de las prácticas.

Education for Global Citizenship in Colombia: Opportunities and Challenges 出版年份: 2018 作者: Nicolás AguilAr Forero | Ana María Velásquez This article seeks to contribute to the critical analysis of education for global citizenship in Colombia, as a concept and strategy still under construction. First, the article reflects on four focuses that describe the debates on the strategy. Then it analyzes the opportunities for implementation, especially those associated with the peace agreement between Colombia’s government and revolutionary armed forces, and with the characteristics of a decentralized educational system. To conclude, the study presents the challenges linked to the nation’s political polarization and the need to strengthen education for environmental protection, sexual diversity and gender studies, and the construction of democracy.
