3rd Youth Leadership Workshop on GCED: Final Report 出版年份: 2017 机构作者: APCEIU This report provides an overview of the activities carried out during the 3rd Youth Leadership Workshop on Global Citizenship Education (GCED) held in Jeju, Republic of Korea, from 28 May - 3 June 2017. This programme invited 50 youth activists from 43 countries around the world to exchange their ideas and identify GCED leadership strategies in order to mobilize young people for GCED in local and national contexts and advance the agenda globally. This report also aims to convey the voice of the youth represented by GCED Youth Network: their thoughts and reflections on GCED and its priority areas. 함께 사는 세상 만들기 出版年份: 2004 机构作者: APCEIU This book, in essence, aims to introduce Education for International Understanding (EIU) to high school students, college students and teachers at all levels as well as the general public. The growing interconnectedness and interdependence compels all of us to understand the world beyond our immediate living space, to critically reflect on issues affecting us and others, and to work together to make our world a more peaceful and sustainable one. It requires values education that is transformative and participatory in nature to arouse genuine interests and passions to learn more and eventually to make positive changes. The book is comprised of five parts, organized by five thematic areas of EIU, namely, intercultural understanding, globalization, human rights, peace and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). It introduces carefully chosen topics and discussions which may pique readers’ interest in some of the issues at stake, thus, encourage them to critically reflect on the complexities surrounding the issues and motivate them to engage further. Ten Clues for Rethinking Curriculum 出版年份: 2021 作者: Renato Opertti 机构作者: UNESCO International Bureau of Education (IBE) This discussion document highlights the urgency of rethinking curriculum in light of reinforcing the commitments of the Education 2030 Agenda on learning, disruptive systemic worldwide societal changes, and crucially, the profound transformation of education and education systems post Covid-19. Curriculum is always at the core of giving effect to social aspirations and ideals on the why, what, how, when, and where of teaching, learning, and assessing. We propose a series of 10 interconnected clues to deepen on the systemic and holistic understanding of curriculum as contributing to lay foundations for a better, sustainable and fair future. These clues are: understanding the new generations; combatting factors related to vulnerability; reinforcing understanding between school and families; deepening glo-local education; enhancing the focus on the person; promoting synergies among values; valuing diversity; focusing on education that enhances freedom; moving toward hybrid modes of education; and inspiring affection for educators.

In 2017, UNESCO and SADC developed a Joint Programme of Action (JPA) which identifies concrete area of cooperation.
