The Digital Future of Teacher Training in Indonesia: What’s Next? 出版年份: 2022 作者: Noah Yarrow | Noviandri Khairina | Jacobus Cilliers | Indah Dini 机构作者: World Bank | Government of Australia This report reflects on the Indonesia’s online teacher training ecosystem based on unique data collected from both teachers and providers during the COVID-19 period. A detailed mapping of the eight largest providers of online teacher training in Indonesia was conducted, covering 25 programs. We find that the majority of programs are short in duration and focus on digital literacy skills and remote learning. Training programs were mostly provided using online lectures, few provided individual coaching, while none provided opportunities for personalized learning. Second, we conducted a nationally representative phone survey of 435 primary and junior secondary teachers spanning 30 provinces across Indonesia (66 percent of whom are female teachers). The teacher survey was conducted between February and March 2021 and covered teachers under both the Ministry of Education, Research, and Technology (MoECRT) and the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA). We find that 44 percent of teachers participated in online learning during the pandemic, and that three quarters of these teachers had never participated in online training prior to the pandemic. Many training participants reported challenges in implementing what they learned from online training. Most of the teachers who participated (88 percent) would like to continue receiving training online even after the pandemic ends. These results suggest that demand for online training is expected to persist, but more can be done to improve their quality.
유아교사들이 경험하는 세계시민교육 실행의 어려움 (한국유아교육연구; Vol. 26, No.3) 出版年份: 2024 作者: 나예원 | 김고은 机构作者: 한국교원대학교 유아교육연구소 본 연구는 세계시민교육을 실행하는 유아교사들이 경험하는 어려움에 대해 질적으로 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 세계시민교육을 1년 이상 실행하고 있는 현장 경력 5년 이상의 유아교사 5명을 대상으로 개별 심층 면담을 2회 실시하였다. 면담 전사 자료로부터 개념을 도출하고, 재범주화를 반복하여 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사들은 유아가 편견이나 고정관념을 갖지 않도록 하면서 정치적으로 민감하고 논쟁적인 이슈를 다루어야 하는 어려움이 있다고 하였다. 둘째, 교사들은 내용과 수준만 적절하게 조절하면 유아교육에서도 세계시민교육 실행이 가능하다고 믿는 한편, ‘전쟁’과 같이 복잡하고 무거운 주제를 다루는 방법에 대해서는 어려움을 겪었다. 셋째, 교사들은 학부모의 부정적인 평가에 대한 우려와 관리자의 예방적 조치로 인해 특정 주제를 다루거나 활동을 진행할 때 어려움을 경험하였다. 넷째, 교사들은 적절한 지원 체계가 없어 개별 교사의 역량과 노력에만 전적으로 의존해야 하는 어려움을 토로하였다. 다섯째, 교사들은 세계시민교육 주제를 깊이 있게 다루고 싶어 하지만, 유아의 흥미와 관심을 지속하고 확장하는 데 어려움을 경험하였다. 본 연구 결과는 유아세계시민교육 실행의 어려움에 대한 심층적인 이해를 도모하고 교사 지원방안을 마련하는 기반을 제공해 준다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
