عدسة التعليم من أجل التنمية المستدامة أداة استعراض السياسات والممارسات سنة النشر: 2010 المؤلف المؤسسي: UNESCO The UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (DESD) calls on the Governments to consider the inclusion of measures to implement the Decade in their respective education systems and strategies and, where appropriate, into national development plans’.2 This ESD Lens provides tools to start this process. It can be adapted to different educational contexts, and country specific policy and practice needs. It is not prescriptive, but provides guidelines and starting points for reviewing education policy and practice using an ESD perspective. ESD Lens Review Tools are provided for planning, for building knowledge of ESD, for reviewing national policy and the aims of education, for reviewing quality learning outcomes, and for reviewing more specific and detailed aspects of the education system such as curriculum, learning materials, assessment and teacher education. The tool is flexible and can be used at different levels of the system. Some of the tools are more suited to policy-makers, while others can be used by teachers and principals in schools. Ideally they should all be used to ensure a more systemic re-orientation of the education system in a country, province, region or district. The pilot testing of the ESD Lens showed that it helps to build synergy for understanding and implementing ESD at national level and at sub-regional levels. The key question being addressed by the ESD Lens is:How can education policies, curriculum and other support processes sufficiently integrate the principles of ESD to inform and strengthen the quality of learning experiences for sustainable development? تعلم العيش معا: برنامج التواصل بين الثقافات والأديان لتعليم الأخلاق سنة النشر: 2008 المؤلف المؤسسي: Interfaith Council on Ethics Education for Children | Arigatou Foundation (Switzerland) Learning to Live Together has been developed for use in different religious and secular contexts as a resource for everyone concerned with promoting ethics and values. The objective has been to develop a resource that is relevant on a global level and yet flexible enough to be interpreted within different cultural and social contexts. The resource has been tested in many different regions and cultural contexts to assure that it is relevant in regional and local contexts (see ‘We did it like this’, p.187). Test workshops have been held in 10 different countries, where the GNRC was able to bring together various religious and secular organisations working with children. During the test workshops, this resource manual was used to the benefit of more than 300 children and youth, representing African Traditional Religions, Bahá’í Faith, Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, members of Brahma Kumaris and a number of people of secular thinking. Test workshops as well as input and comments from experts in the area of education, ethics, spirituality, intercultural and interfaith learning and child rights have contributed important experiences and opportunities for learning for the development of this resource. Learning to Live Together is already having an impact. In a GNRC programme in Israel, the resource material was used during a six-day journey made by a group of Jewish, Christian, and Muslim youth to the historical sites of Israel and Palestine, all of which have symbolic relevance to the conflict in their region. At each stop, youth participants discussed their values and their differing perceptions of their shared history. Learning to Live Together is an adaptable resource that can be used with children from many different cultural, religious and social contexts to nurture common values and a mutual respect for different backgrounds and traditions. The resource provides space for enhancing children’s innate potential for spirituality and hope for a better world, as a contribution to changing the situation for children worldwide. The Users Guide provides all necessary information for its use. UNESCO and UNICEF have been closely involved in developing Learning to Live Together and have endorsed the material as an important contribution to a quality education, which takes a multicultural and multi-religious society into consideration. UNESCO’s Guidelines for Intercultural Education underpin the philosophy and the approach of the resource: “Religious education can be described as learning about one’s own religion or spiritual practices, or learning about other religions or beliefs. Interfaith education, in contrast, aims to actively shape the relations between people from different religions”. التربية من أجل التنمية المستدامة: كتاب مرجعي سنة النشر: 2013 المؤلف المؤسسي: UNESCO The target audiences for the Education for Sustainable Development Sourcebook are primary and secondary teachers and mid-level decision-makers, who have responsibility for primary and secondary education. Another primary audience is teacher educators who work with pre-service and in-service primary and secondary school teachers. The purpose of the publication is to describe ways in which education for sustainable development (ESD) can be integrated into primary and secondary schooling. This collection of briefs is designed to complement other ESD materials published by UNESCO. The topics for the briefs were selected in consultation with UNESCO Field Offices and Institutes. The briefs for primary and secondary teachers are specifically written for professional educators who work in formal education settings. The briefs for teachers as well as those for decision-makers address “gaps” in the UNESCO ESD literature. This approach favours discovery of the environment through the senses, and emphasizes the visual and exploratory aspects of environmental study. The idea of using creativity and artistic sensibility to promote ecological awareness may in the future become a source of collaboration to be explored in detail by the different sectors of UNESCO. دليل لفائدة المكونين و الوسطاء لإستعمال " دليل شباب تونس في تعلم الديمقراطية " سنة النشر: 2013 المؤلف المؤسسي: UNESCO Rabat As part of its project to support education for democracy for young people in Tunisia, UNESCO has developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, the National Commission for Education, Science and Culture, CAWTAR, IADH, CNIPRE and UNI, a handbook on democracy for young people in Tunisia. This handbook is composed of twenty factsheets illustrated with drawings by Plantu. It popularizes the standards and universal principles, as well as major international instruments that protect and emphasize the national legal framework, key issues and challenges and good practices in Tunisia. One of the comparative advantages of this module is the fact that it highlights local issues and ongoing legal reforms in Tunisia. The present handbook has been developed as a pedagogical tool to help adult intermediaries (teachers, social educators etc…) responsible for the training of young people in school and community settings. It provides a series of exercises and situations to facilitate the learning and acquisition of knowledge in the field of democracy. The contents of this guidebook develops an approach based on "the discovery by oneself" which offers to participants activities, exercises and situations that require the mobilization of resources and contents of the training handbook on democracy for young people in Tunisia. Its use requires flexibility and creativity on the part of the trainer to enrich and/ or adapt the proposed exercises. It is in the light of the training context, prior knowledge of the concerned learners, the level of engagement of participants and according to thematic representations, that the trainer designs the training content.
