We wanted to carry out this process recognizing the agency of young people and therefore we seek to generate collective and mobilizing reflections that increase their commitment as agents of change in our society. To this end, we place ourselves within the framework of Feminist Activist Research (IAF) using photovoice as a research strategy. ACER-APCEIU Global Citizenship Education Monitoring Toolkit: For Teachers, Schools and System Leaders Année de publication: 2024 Auteur: Rachel Parker | Amy Berry | Payal Goundar | Karena Menzie-Ballantyne Auteur institutionnel: Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) | APCEIU The APCEIU-ACER GCED Monitoring Toolkit was developed and informed by research conducted from 2022-2024 in collaboration with partners in Australia, Lao PDR, Philippines, and South Korea. The toolkit aims to assist education stakeholders to embed GCED within policy and practice in alignment with local, regional, and international frameworks. Target users of this toolkit include policy makers, education department and ministry personnel, leaders, and educators at all levels in both formal and non-formal education sectors.The toolkit explores effective GCED including how to conceptualise and define, plan, enact and monitor implementation, and how to measure success. These works of art were selected from 274 entries submitted by artists in 117 countries worldwide to join SILENT MANGA AUDITION® Round 13 held under the theme Together for Peace, in collaboration with UNESCO Bangkok, the Asia and Pacific Regional Bureau for Education. Silent manga is a powerful medium of communication in the Asia-Pacific. Although the region is the most diverse in the world, it can be enjoyed by anyone regardless of their background. Silent manga has no language barrier. These works showcase different reflections of peace as expressed by artists around the world while conforming to the Japanese manga style. 
[Summary] First Meeting of UNESCO Chairs Relating to Global Citizenship Education Année de publication: 2022 Auteur institutionnel: UNESCO | APCEIU This report shares the overview of the First Meeting of UNESCO Chairs Relating to Global Citizenship Education held on Friday, 30 September 2022. The event was co-organized by UNESCO and APCEIU with the main objective of gathering UNESCO Chairs from GCED-related fields to discuss the need for a platform for information sharing and knowledge exchanges and share ideas of how UNESCO Chairs could collaborate through joint projects.As UNESCO is in the process of revising the 1974 UNESCO Recommendation concerning Education for International Understanding, Co-operation and Peace and Education relating to Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, the report also shared the summary of the discussion over the meeting regarding the current status of the revision process and UNESCO Chairs' thoughts and suggestions on the revised Recommendation.

The event was co-organized by the Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Korea to UNESCO and the Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding (APCEIU) in collaboration with the Group of Friends for Solidarity and Inclusion with GCED (Afghanistan, Armenia, Austria, Bangladesh, Canada, Colombia, Italy, Jordan, Kenya, Kuwait, Philippines, Republic of Korea, Saudi Arabia, Senegal and Serbia). This report shares the summary of the event, particularly the presentations on GCED activities implemented by practitioners from Armenia, Austria, Colombia, Jordan, Kenya and the Philippines to influence more GCED programmes/initiatives on various contexts and backgrounds. 
2023 Youth Leaders' Mentorship & Local GCED Project: Activity Report Année de publication: 2023 Auteur institutionnel: APCEIU This report summarizes 10 GCED projects implemented in different parts of the world by the alumni of APCEIU’s Youth Leadership Workshop on GCED in 2023. Ranging from community advocacy for global citizenship to youth-led campaign projects, 10 GCED initiatives have been taken by 10 young leaders in their own communities in Asia, Europe, Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. APCEIU offers GCED training programmes targeting youth leaders around the globe to encourage them to achieve the SDGs through global citizenship and GCED. Since 2015, the Youth Leadership Workshop on GCED has been held every year in the Republic of Korea, inviting 50 young global leaders to take part in an intensive training programme where they share their actions, deepen their knowledge on global/local issues, enhance their motivation to take actions for a change, and establish the young leaders’ network on GCED. Since 2021, it has been shifted to a comprehensive training programme composed of online training workshops, mentorship, and local project implementation.
