The COVID-19 Pandemic of Disinformation and Hate Speech: How can Education and Digital Citizenship Help? ; Synthesis Report Année de publication: 2020 Auteur institutionnel: UNESCO COVID-19 is not only one of the most significant health crises of our times, but is also an information crisis taking place in a dynamic and constantly evolving scientific environment with uncertainty on many fundamental issues. The information crisis is the result of the plethora of available information and the difficulty in differentiating true from false -or even fake- information, and identifying what content is in a grey and evolving scientific zone.In this context, education can play an important role in minimizing these risks and promoting values of solidarity and human rights by ensuring that young people, as well as their educators and parents, acquire core competencies of digital citizenship that build resilience to disinformation and misinformation and the exploitation of these by hate-mongers. Education can also help young people engage in the online environment in a safe, sensitive, critical, ethical and accountable way as well as encourage them to play a role in pioneering educational initiatives that contribute to promoting digital citizenship.

Mapping of Media Information Literacy in Jordan Année de publication: 2018 Auteur institutionnel: UNESCO Amman This study has come out as results of conducting a regional mapping exercise in Jordan to identify organizations that operate in the field of MIL to:understand the general landscape of MIL in Jordan to pinpoint areas in which UNESCO should intervene,identify different stakeholders that operate in the field of MIL and understand the scope of their work in terms of activities, region and target,determine the areas of MIL that are considered priorities by organizations,identify the key skills covered by the different initiatives and the nature of these activities,determine the challenges organizations are facing in implementing MILThe results of the study revealed that organizations exhibit considerable enthusiasm for the field of MIL and consider the competencies that fall within its scope as paramount in building a society that is empowered to successfully navigate the increasingly complex media sphere and use this knowledge to further contribute to the societal, cultural, educational and scientific development. 
후기청소년(19-24세)의 미디어 리터러시 교육과 미디어 정책에 대한 인식 연구 Année de publication: 2022 Auteur: 강진숙 | 권오현 Auteur institutionnel: 한국청소년정책연구원 이 연구는 후기청소년의 미디어 리터러시 교육과 미디어 정책에 대한 인식 연구로서 후기청소년의 미디어 리터러시 교육적 쟁점과 국내외 사례를 살펴보고, 후기청소년 및 미디어 관련 전문가들의 인식을 통해 후기청소년이 미디어 리터러시 교육과 미디어 정책을 제안하는 데 목적이 있다.연구 진행을 위해 문헌연구, 전문가 자문, FGI(Focus group Interview) 및 심층인터뷰를 진행하였으며, 국내외 후기청소년의 미디어 이용 현황과 관련 정책을 문헌연구를 통해 알아보고, 함의를 도출하였다. 본 저작물은 한국청소년정책연구원에서 2022년 작성하여 공공누리 제4유형으로 개방한 ‘후기청소년(19-24세)의 미디어 리터러시 교육과 미디어 정책에 대한 인식 연구(강진숙, 권오현)’를 이용하였으며 해당 저작물은 한국청소년정책연구원 홈페이지 (https://www.nypi.re.kr)에서 무료로 다운받으실 수 있습니다. 
미디어 리터러시 교육의 융합적 접근 Année de publication: 2020 Auteur: 진민정 | 김반야 | 박유신 | 최숙 Auteur institutionnel: 한국언론진흥재단 본 연구서에는 미디어 리터러시 교육에서의 융합 논의를 기반으로 미디어 리터러시 교육의 패러다임 전환의 필요성을 더욱 공고히 하고, 국내와 해외의 구체적인 사례와 더불어 현재 학교 수업에서 사용 가능한 프로그램을 제시하며 이를 토대로 융합적 미디어 리터러시 교육의 유형과 나아가 융합적 교육의 실현 방안을 살펴보고자 한다.본 연구에서 말하는 융합적 접근이란 미디어 재현 테크놀로지가 호환되고 통합되면서 변화되는 협의적 의미의 융합이라기보다는 좀 더 총체적인 차원의 미디어 교육 패러다임의 변화를 강조하는 제안이다. 다시 말해, 시대적 한계로 인해 고착된 국내 미디어 교육 현장의 분절성을 극복하고 비판적 리터러시의 제고라는 공통의 목표를 위해 주제 간, 참여 주체들 간, 교육 내용 간, 방식 간의 교차, 공유, 협력으로 공동의 성과를 내는 것을 의미한다. 
온라인 허위정보와 뉴스 미디어 Année de publication: 2020 Auteur: 박아란, 이나연, 오현경 Auteur institutionnel: 한국언론진흥재단 본 연구에서는 코로나19 사태 등 최근 국내외에서 발생한 주요 사안들과 관련하여 유포되고 있는 허위정보와 가짜뉴스의 사례와 개념 등을 정리하고 각국의 대응방안에 대해 조사하는 것을 목표로 한다. 특히 현재 진행 중인 코로나19 사태는 전 세계적으로 관심이 집중되고 있는 사안이니만큼 코로나19와 관련된 허위정보의 확산 및 피해 사례들을 중점적으로 살펴보고, 최근 선거를 치르거나 앞두고 있는 국가들의 사례를 통해 선거 관련 허위조작정보 문제에 대해서도 살펴봄으로써 사회적 혼란을 가져오고 불신을 양산하는 허위정보 문제에 효과적으로 대응할 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 한다. 
노년층 미디어교육 활성화 방안 Année de publication: 2019 Auteur: 조재희 | 나은영 | 이혜선 Auteur institutionnel: 한국언론진흥재단 미디어 생태계가 급격히 변하고 있는 현대 사회에서 미디어 소수자들에 대한 디지털 격차는 여전히 확장되고 있다. 특히 환경의 변화에 유연하게 적응하기 어려운 노년층들은 이러한 미디어 생태계 변화에 적절히 대처하기 어려우며 이로 인해 디지털 격차를 겪게 된다. 이에 미디어 소수자로서의 노년층에 대한 미디어교육의 필요성이 강조되고 있고 정부와 지자체를 비롯한 다양한 기관에서 노년층을 대상으로 미디어교육을 실시하고 있다.본 연구는 다양한 방법론을 통해 노인 미디어교육을 활성화시키기 위한 방안을 다각도로 탐색해 보았다. 본 연구의 연구결과는 노년층에 특화된 미디어교육 프로그램을 개발하고 진행하기 위한 실질적인 제언을 줄 수 있으며 노인 미디어교육 활성화를 위한 정책 마련을 위해 고려해야 하는 구체적인 사항들을 제시한다.
