الثنائية اللغوية بين اكتساب اللغة الأم (العربية) وتعلم اللغة الأجنبية (الإنجليزية) Année de publication: 2015 Auteur: Fuad Abdul Muttalib | Shafeeq Banat Auteur institutionnel: AlMamon University College تبحث هذه الدراسة أهمية تعلم اللغات الأجنبية، لا سيما اللغة الإنجليزية، ودورها في مختلف ميادين الحياة، وعلى نحو ملحوظ في التربية والتعليم والبحث ونقل المعرفة والتنمية اللغوية والثقافية. لكن التداخل اللغوي بين اللغة الأجنبية واستخدامات اللغة الأم يؤدي أحياناً إلى مشكلات غدت مستفحلة في الآونة الأخيرة. وبغية تقصي هذه المشكلات، يحاول هذا البحث الخوض في موضوع اكتساب الأطفال للغتهم الأم ومن ثمَّ نماء هذه اللغة وإبداعهم فيها، مستعرضاً آراء باحثين مختصين في هذا المجال.ويتطرق البحث إلى المشتغلين باللغة وانجذاب بعضهم إلى اللغة الإنجليزية التي راحت تقتحم عملية اكتساب المعرفة والتعليم والثقافة والإبداع وتؤثر سلباً في هذه العملية انطلاقاً من نظرة دونية وتشكيك حيال اللغة العربية واتهامها بالعجز والقصور عن مواكبة مستجدات العصر. ويشير البحث إلى ظهور هذه المشكلة قديماً في اللغة والثقافة العربيتين متناولاً آراء ابن خلدون فيها. ويعرض البحث لأفكار ومقترحات يمكن أن تخدم بوصفها حلولاً لهذه الإشكالية القديمة الجديدة، مستفيداً في ذلك من دراسات وثيقة الصلة بموضوعه، وذلك كله من خلال تأكيد فكرة استخدام العربية لغةً للتعلّم والبحث والتربية والإبداع وإنتاج المعرفة على نحوٍ أساس. Bilingualism Between Mother Tongue (Arabic) Acquisition and Foreign Language (English) Learning Année de publication: 2015 Auteur: Fuad Abdul Muttalib | Shafeeq Banat Auteur institutionnel: AlMamon University College This research work considers the importance of learning of foreign languages, especially English, and their role in education, research, knowledge transfer, language and cultural growth. Language overlapping, between English and Arabic, leads sometimes to acute problems. To approach these problems, the work tries to discuss the acquisition of children of their mother tongue, its expansion and its use creatively in different disciplines.The work tackles the attraction of English to some experts in their fields, the thing that drives them to look suspiciously and down at Arabic accusing it of incompetence to catch up with new changes. Since language overlapping is an old problem, this has entailed a reference to Iben Khaldoun’s diagnosis of it with commentary. The work asserts eventually the essential use of Arabic as a language of education, research, culture and knowledge production, without neglecting foreign languages learning, above all English. The work is carried out in the light of the available studies on this issue.

The International Teacher Task Force builds on its comparative advantage as a global multiple-stakeholder alliance joining hands to address the global teacher challenges, to offer the present Teacher Policy Development Guide.Users will find relevant definitions of concepts, description of the different dimensions of teacher issues and how they correlate, and suggestions of phases in the process of developing a national teacher policy. Of utmost importance is the involvement of all stakeholders, especially the teachers, in the process.

Socio-Economic and Cultural Impacts of COVID-19 on Africa: What Responses from UNESCO? Année de publication: 2020 Auteur institutionnel: UNESCO This policy paper analyses the socio-economic and cultural impacts of the disease on Africa as a whole, caused by both the immediate effects and the present and future consequences of the pandemic, including on the African societal fabric, which is likely to lead to a fracture in the trust between States and their citizens and within communities themselves. As such, it highlights the main measures that were adopted by African countries to contain the crisis and its socio-economic and cultural effects. While committing to acting and reflecting on the present and future consequences of the pandemic, UNESCO aims to contribute substantially to the ongoing debates in Africa through the development of a strategic response to help the collective global and regional efforts against the pandemic. Ce faisant, elle met en lumière les principales mesures adoptées par les pays africains pour juguler la crise et ses effets socio-économiques et culturelles. Mapping of Media Literacy Practices and Actions in EU-28 Année de publication: 2016 Auteur institutionnel: European Audiovisual Observatory | Council of Europe The European Audiovisual Observatory provides the first major mapping of media literacy initiatives in Europe. A detailed analysis of the main trends is based on a selection of 547 projects imprelemented across EU member states.The authors found that initiatives to develop 'critical thinking' were the most prevalent, followed by 'media use' covering projects which aim to improve our ability to search, find and navigate and use media content and services.Other major findings include the very active role played by civil society with 'extra-curricular projects aimed at 'teens and older students' as the main target demographic for media literacy projects.The study is accompanied by a wealth of background media literacy research contained in its 4 annexes, including detailed national summaries, summaries of the 547 featured projects supplemented by 145 detailed case studies.

다문화 미디어교육 연구의 동향과 과제 (다문화교육연구; Vol. 17, No. 3) Année de publication: 2024 Auteur: 송미리 | 박선운 Auteur institutionnel: 한국다문화교육학회 본 연구는 다문화 미디어교육 연구의 동향을 파악하고, 다문화 사회, 미디어 사회에서의 교육 방향을 제안하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 2006년부터 2024년까지 “다문화”, “인종”, “민족”, “이주”, “이주 배경”, “외국인”과 “미디어교육”을 주제어로 하는 국내 학술논문 53편을 연구 유형, 교육 대상, 연구 내용, 미디어 종류, 미디어교육 유형을 중심으로 분석하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다문화 미디어교육 관련 연구는 2008년에 처음 발표되어 비교적 꾸준히 발표되고 있으나, 큰 폭으로 증가하지는 않았다. 둘째, 연구 대상면에서는 “이주 배경 집단” 또는 “이주 배경 집단과 선주민 집단”을 대상으로 한 연구가 많았다. 연령별로는 성인 대상 연구가 다수 수행되었으며 연령을 특정하지 않은 연구도 상당수 있었다. 셋째, 다문화 미디어 활용 교육 연구의 경우 이주 배경 집단 대상의 다문화 현상과 무관한 내용을 활용한 교육이 많았으며, 다문화 미디어 리터러시 교육은 다문화 현상 과 관련된 내용의교육이가장많았다. 넷째, 최근 연구들에서는 다양한 미디어를 사용하여 논의를 진행하고 있으나, 미디어를 특정하지 않고 수행한 연구 또한 다수 발견되었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 향후 다양한 연구 방법의 활용, 다문화 미디어교육 대상의 확대, 다문화 미디어교육 내용에 대한 검토, 미디어의 종류를 고려한 연구 수행과 함께 다문화 미디어교육 연구의 양적, 질적 성장이 이루어져야함을 제언하였다.
