세계시민교육 국내 이행현황 연구보고서: 유·초중등학교 교육과정을 중심으로 Année de publication: 2018 Auteur institutionnel: APCEIU “세계시민교육 국내 이행현황 연구보고서 - 유·초중등학교 교육과정을 중심으로”가 발간되었다. 본 연구보고서는 세계시민교육의 실행과 성과에 대한 국가 수준의 모니터링 및 평가 연구가 희소하다는 문제의식에 기초하여 작성된 결과물이다. 특히, 국내 17개 시·도교육청 산하 유치원, 초·중·고등학교 교육과정 활동에서 세계시민의 개념이 어떻게 반영 및 실행되고 있는지를 살펴보기 위하여 탐색적 연구를 설계하고 관련 자료 조사를 실시하는데 주안점을 두었다. 또한 연구조사 결과를 토대로 동 보고서는 향후 세계시민교육이 교육현장에서 보다 명확하게 이행되고 확산될 수 있도록 하는 정책적 제언도 담고 있다.

The countries presented in this report are not necessarily the ‘best’ examples of the region, as many other countries are also progressing effectively towards implementing Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). Rather, the countries selected illustrate the wide diversity of ESD approaches and initiatives taking place in different parts of the world. The national studies were then edited and harmonized before common themes and lessons learnt were identified to support other national efforts in moving towards the end of the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development. Les pays présentés dans ce rapport ne sont pas nécessairement les exemples «meilleurs» de la région, comme beaucoup d'autres pays progressent également de manière efficace pour mettre en œuvre l'éducation pour le développement durable (EDD). Au contraire, les pays sélectionnés illustrent la grande diversité des approches et des initiatives qui se déroulent dans différentes parties du monde EDD. Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development: a joint initiative by UNESCO and the government of India Année de publication: 2013 Auteur institutionnel: Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP) The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the Government of India are embarking on a major new partnership to create the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development. Through research and capacity-building, the Institute aims to develop and promote new approaches to education, empowering learners to transform their lives and build a more peaceful and sustainable world. Based in New Delhi, this will be the first UNESCO specialized education Institute in India, and the first in the Asia-Pacific region. It is particularly fitting that the Institute is hosted by India, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi and a country that has made a significant commitment to education over the past decades. An Investigation of Conflict Management in Cambodian Villages: A Review of the Literature with Suggestions for Future Research Année de publication: 2001 Auteur: Caroline Hughes Auteur institutionnel: Centre for Peace and Development, Cambodia Development Resource Institute This literature review sets out a conceptual framework for the investigation of conflict management in Cambodian villages, and gives suggestions for further research. It places the study of conflict and conflict management in the framework of ideas of a “culture of peace”, and argues that this requires examining questions of both active procedures (agency) and their context (structure) in responses to conflict. 
SDG 4.7: 세계시민교육 지표수립을 위한 기초연구 Année de publication: 2018 Auteur institutionnel: APCEIU “SDG 4.7 세계시민교육 지표수립을 위한 기초연구 보고서”가 발간되었다. 본 연구보고서는 국제적으로 합의된 글로벌 지표의 부재로 현재까지 정의가 완료되지 않은 지속가능발전목표 (SDG) 4.7 지표 개발을 위한 기초 연구이다. 즉, 동 보고서는 세계시민교육 및 SDG 4.7 지표에 관한 기존의 국내·외 연구결과를 종합적으로 검토하여 글로벌 지표에 관한 주요 논의를 정리하고, 국내 지표 개발을 위한 함의를 도출하는 데에 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위하여 유네스코 통계원 (UIS)의 최신 SDG 4.7.1 메타데이터 연구와 국내·외 연구결과에 기초하여 국내에서 활용할 수 있는 정보와 데이터를 검토하고 있다. 
Health and Education in the Greater Mekong Subregion: Policies, Institutions and Practices Année de publication: 2015 Auteur: Greater Mekong Subregion Development Analysis Network Auteur institutionnel: Cambodia Development Resource Institute (CDRI) The focus of the paper is thus on the institutional frameworks and their effectiveness in policy-making and implementation in health and education and not so much on assessing whether these polices themselves are appropriate. In assessing institutional effectiveness, the paper does not purport to be comprehensive but selective in that it looks at only a few key issues: national, especially public, resource commitments; intra-governmental coordination, both vertical and horizontal; the roles of non-state actors, including private sector, civil society organisations and civil society more generally. 
Mobile Learning as a Catalyst to Global Citizenship Education in China: Case Study by the UNESCO-Fazheng Project on Best Practices in Mobile Learning Année de publication: 2019 Auteur: Yao Yu | Shutong Wang | Lucy Emerson Haagen Auteur institutionnel: UNESCO The Beijing Royal School was one of the pioneer schools in China in incorporating mobile learning into pedagogical transformation. Its mobile learning programme started in 2010. Stemming from the school’s orientation towards global citizenship education, the Beijing Royal School recognizes mobile learning as both driver and enabler for supporting the development of students’ cognitive, socio-emotionaland behavioural dimensions, organized around knowledge acquisition, understanding and respect for difference and diversity, and responsible engagement with global issues. It takes advantage of a variety of mobile apps to support students’ multilingual education, and uses open educational resources (OER) to support multicultural education, taking advantage of the up-to-date worldwide data and information available on the web. It also engages with students from other countries in projects and courses that help the students to widen their understanding of diverse cultures and social contexts. Overall, this case study illustrates how to use mobile technologies to support the implementation of a well-defined and clearly structured educational vision by embedding the use of mobile technologies in students’ daily learning lives. 
Regional overview: Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia Année de publication: 2015 Auteur institutionnel: UNESCO Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and Central Asia (CA) have both made significant advances towards Education for All (EFA) since 1999. However, the 2015 EFA Global Monitoring Report shows that despite progress, Education For All remains unfinished business, including in Central and Eastern Europe and in Central Asia. This must be taken into account in the post-2015 agenda.
