论公民教育 Год публикации: 2003 Автор: Wan Minggang 培养公民是一切教育目标表述的基础,也是国家对教育的基本要求。公民教育已成为当代西方政治哲学、教育理论关注的热点问题,其具有代表性的理论主要有自由主义公民教育、社群主义公民教育和多元文化主义公民教育。社会主义政治文明建设不仅是社会主义民主制度的设计和完善问题,更重要的是培养一代认同、积极参与并具有实践能力的公民。因此公民教育的目标一定要明确地包含在基础教育的目标中,公民教育的内容也一定要渗透在相关的课程之中,并通过公民教育目标整合基础教育中的道德教育、思想政治教育和社会教育以及相关的教育活动。

We must reform the traditional education in the countryside and change the traditional mind of the peasants, so as to solve the development direction of the rural areas and the adjustment of the industry structure, and at the same time solve the problems of the transfer of rural surplus labor, the rational use of rural resources, the balance between rural ecology and the environment. World Development Report 2018 and Its Policy Implications for Education Development in China Год публикации: 2018 Автор: Liu Ji 2018 comprehensively describes a crisis that is looming worldwide: Schooling does not equalize learning. Drawing on key insights from the report, this study provides a high—level summary and relates the findings to common and critical issues that China is today. Content, Comprehensiveness and Coherence in Policies for Early Childhood: How the Curriculum Can Contribute Год публикации: 2016 Автор: María Isabel Díaz Организация-автор: UNESCO International Bureau of Education (IBE) In the context of international agreements and commitments concerning early childhood, the purpose of this document is to review and renew the challenges that are involved in forging educational and curriculum policies for the first level of education. In the light of early childhood being increasingly included in the public agenda, countries are making sustained efforts to increase equity and quality in the design and implementation of policies for the early years.These are policies that are in the process of changing by including quality and participation criteria; fine-tuning monitoring and assessment mechanisms; going beyond the lack of sectoral and territorial coordination, among other limitations; moving from a needs-based approach to a rights-based approach; and adopting a comprehensive view. The document analyses, from a long-term public policy perspective, some of the challenges that second-generation policies face, positioning the curriculum as the articulating factor for the development of comprehensive policies for early childhood.

It provides theoretical frameworks and practical applications in different contexts.Following on from Audrey Osler and Hugh Starkey’s 'Citizenship and Language Learning: international perspectives', published in 2005, this collection aims at offering ideas and practical suggestions on how teachers around the world have tackled the teaching of English within a citizenship education perspective. There are seven chapters, from authors working in different parts of the world, such as Argentina, Bulgaria, Brazil, Colombia, and Pakistan.There are five report style chapters that deal with courses, teaching materials, research and curriculum innovation. The two remaining contributions can be seen as proposals for implementation of a global citizenship perspective in English language classrooms.The diverse interpretations teachers of English around the world have been giving to the task of promoting global citizenship in their classrooms are reflected in this collection with understandings that range from a more prescriptive approach to a transformational one. They bring the potential for new approaches to be tried out in different contexts. The aim is to inspire teachers to experiment and evaluate the results.

While relief efforts tend to focus on emergency responses such as providing food and shelter, more often than not rebuilding schools and ensuring that students continue to attend their classes are not considered priorities. At UNESCO MGIEP, we believe that when education is relegated to the side-lines, there is little hope for a country and its citizens to recover.In this issue, we have brought together expert contributors from academia and the field—from countries such as Afghanistan, Nepal and South Sudan—and have dedicated a large section to the ongoing civil conflict in Syria, which will soon enter its fifth year. With almost half of Syria’s population living as refugees or as internally displaced persons, an entire generation of young people risks losing out on stability and a better future. Our Syria Section explores how these young people, with a particular focus on those who have sought refuge in Germany, are faring and what their hopes are for the future.In other parts of the magazine, we focus on technology and on how modern information and communications technologies (ICTs) can help students access a better education. From impoverished communities in Calcutta using Skype to connect with teachers around the world, to new interactive platforms built for young people to discuss global issues, we hope the stories and experiences we have collected for our readers will give a new and fresh perspective on what it means for education when a crisis hits. We also hope that you enjoy our photo contest, which drew more than 100 entries from young people around the world on what “education and crisis” means to them.

The theory of moral disengagement has been applied to the study of radicalization to violent extremism to explain how individuals can cognitively reconstruct the moral value of violence and carry out inhumane acts.
