Global Education Monitoring Report 2023: Technology in Education; A Tool on Whose Terms? Año de publicación: 2023 Autor corporativo: UNESCO | Global Education Monitoring Report Team This report recommends that technology should be introduced into education on the basis of evidence showing that it would be appropriate, equitable, scalable and sustainable. In other words, its use should be in learners’ best interests and should complement face-to-face interaction with teachers. It should be seen as a tool to be used on these terms. Midway to the deadline, the 2023 Global Education Monitoring Report assesses the distance still to go to reach the 2030 education targets. Education is the key to unlocking the achievement of other development objectives, not least the goal of technological progress.

Les équipes de journalistes et d’enquêteurs de l'ONG peignent un portrait plutôt sombre, avec notamment un recul du droit des femmes, les conséquences dramatiques du réchauffement climatique sur les populations les plus vulnérables, le recul du droit de manifester, ou encore la prolifération de la haine en ligne dans le monde. La multiplication des conflits armés et le choc du 7 octobre ont également eu des conséquences dramatiques. Cependant, quelques bonnes nouvelles sont aussi à noter, avec des avancées pour les droits des personnes LGBTI par exemple. TheNGO's teams of journalists and investigators paint a rather gloomy picture, with, in particular, a decline in women's rights, the dramatic consequences of global warming on the most vulnerable populations, a decline in the right to protest, and the proliferation of online hate around the world. The multiplication of armed conflicts and the shock of October 7 have also had dramatic consequences. CONFINTEA VII Seventh International Conference on Adult Education: Final Report; Adult learning and Education for Sustainable Development; A Transformative Agenda Año de publicación: 2023 Autor corporativo: UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) The International Conference on Adult Education (CONFINTEA) is a UNESCO intergovernmental conference for policy dialogue on adult learning and education (ALE) and related research and advocacy, which has taken place every 12 to 13 years since 1949. This is a final report of the Seventh International Conference on Adult Education (CONFINTEA VII) held in Marrakech, Kingdom of Morocco, and online, from 15 to 17 June 2022. 
7th Global Capacity-Building Workshop on GCED: Mentorship Programme Activity Report Año de publicación: 2023 Autor corporativo: APCEIU This report summarizes 15 GCED projects implemented by the selected mentees/grantees of APCElU's 7th Global Capacity-Building Workshop on GCED in 2022. 15 GCED initiatives, including teacher training workshops, curriculum development, school-based activities, and community development projects, have been taken by educators, teachers, and practitioners in Asia, Europe, Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. The mentees/grantees first participated in the 7th Global Capacity-Building Workshop on GCED in September 2022. After the completion of the Workshop, graduates submit the GCED proposals to be selected as the grantees/mentees. The selected 15 mentees/grantees are matched with expert mentors to be guided for their project development and implementation. This report describes the summary of 15 projects held in different corners of the world, along with its outputs. 
Korea-Japan Teacher's Network on GCED 2023: Final Report Año de publicación: 2023 Autor corporativo: APCEIU APCEIU launched the Korea-Japan Teachers’ Network on GCED in 2021, and since then, participating teachers from Japan and Korea have engaged in varied activities, including collaborative lesson plan development, online seminars, joint classroom projects, and student exchanges. In 2023, the first in-person training workshop was held in the Republic of Korea. Designed to deepen the understanding of GCED/peace education of participants, strengthen their capacities to foster global citizenship through education, share good practices and cases, and plan for future collaboration, the Workshop was attended by 33 Korean and Japanese teachers who have actively engaged in Network activities, including teacher-student exchange.
