Dubai Inclusive Education Policy Framework Année de publication: 2017 Auteur institutionnel: Knowledge and Human Development Authority The policy framework has been developed in partnership with a diverse range of stakeholders. It is based on international evidence of successful inclusive practices in education. It is also the culmination of an international benchmarking literature review, a participatory research process, based on extensive consultation with many stakeholders and an environmental scan of the enablers and barriers to inclusive education.Based on international best-practice and research, the policy framework purposefully offers definitions of key terms with the intention of informing a clear, common language and approach. This policy framework also takes into account the complexity and the uniqueness of the education landscape of Dubai, which hosts schools from all over the world, collectively delivering over 17 different curricula. This landscape is characterised by a diverse range of different education settings including schools, early learning centres, higher education providers and special education centres.  Call Me When He Tries to Kill You: State Response to Domestic Violence in Kyrgyzstan Année de publication: 2015 Auteur institutionnel: Human Rights Watch This report documents the government of Kyrgyzstan’s failure to provide survivors of domestic violence with adequate services, protection, and legal remedies. It is based on Human Rights Watch research conducted in November and December 2014 in three cities in Kyrgyzstan: Bishkek and Naryn in the north and Osh in the south. Additional meetings and interviews were conducted in Bishkek in May 2015. More speci¬cally, Sustainable Development Goal 4 is devoted to ensuring quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all. As the lead agency for education, UNESCO is mandated to support Member States in implementing SDG 4 through the Education 2030 Framework for Action. Central Asian countries – Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan – have all shown their commitment to achieving the SDGs by 2030, including SDG 4, and have taken several actions in this regard. There is now a growing international recognition of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) as an integral element of quality education and a key enabler for sustainabledevelopment. Both the Muscat Agreement adopted at the Global Education For All Meeting in 2014 (GEM) and the proposal for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) developed by the Open Working Group of the UN General Assembly on SDGs  (OWG) include ESD in the proposed targets for the post-2015 agenda.In 2013, the 37th session of the General Conference of UNESCO endorsed the Global Action Programme (GAP) on ESD as the follow-up to the UN Decade of ESD (2005-2014). Building on the achievements of the Decade, the GAP aims to generate and scale up concrete actions in ESD. The present Roadmap communicates the GAP endorsed by UNESCO Member States (37 C/Resolution 12) to decision-makers, stakeholders and actors, and provides suggestions for the implementation of the GAP, as well as details on UNESCO’s role.
