Educating Against Hate Année de publication: 2016 Auteur institutionnel: United Kingdom. Department of Education, United Kingdom. Home Office As children grow and become more independent, it is not unusual for them to take risks, explore new things and push boundaries. This can mean that they are particularly vulnerable to extremist groups, who may claim to offer answers, as well as identity and a strong social network. And because they know young people are vulnerable, extremist groups often target them using the internet and social media to spread their ideology. The purpose of this website is to provide practical advice and support to help all individuals with an interest in keeping children safe from the dangers of extremism.
Educating Against Hate Année de publication: 2016 Auteur institutionnel: United Kingdom. Department of Education, United Kingdom.

Guidelines for Green and Low-Carbon Consumption at World Heritage Sites Année de publication: 2024 Auteur institutionnel: UNESCO Beijing | International Bamboo and Rattan Organization (INBAR) Benefiting from Chishui’s rich tourism resources, such as Chishui Danxia World Heritage site, national nature reserves, and attractive landscapes with bamboo featured, ecotourism is flourishing in Chishui. Since 2018, within the framework of China Youth Development Foundation Mercedes-Benz Star Fund "Conservation and Management of World Heritage Sites in China" project, UNESCO Regional Office for East Asia has been implementing the “Bamboo for Carbon Neutrality in Rural Areas” pilot activity on bamboo handicraft sustainable livelihood and carbon reduction and low-carbon development in collaboration with Chishui World Heritage Administration, Chishui Forestry Administration and International Bamboo and Rattan Organization (INBAR) with the support from the Intangible Cultural Heritage Department of Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Guizhou Forestry and Grassland Administration. In recent years, the Chinese government has attached great importance to green consumption in implementing the Action Plan for Carbon Dioxide Peak Before 2030 and has achieved remarkable results. However, rigid constraints still exist in several industries, meaning that the long-term mechanism for promoting green consumption and the supporting role of green consumption in high-quality economic development need to be strengthened. In response to this demand, the Guidelines for Green and Low-Carbon Consumption at World Heritage Sites takes the development and utilization of bamboo resources as an entry point to provide systematic guidance for World Heritage sites to implement green and low-carbon concepts in consumer activities, especially in tourism development.

Digital Resource Guide: Media Education Against Hate Speech Année de publication: 2022 Auteur institutionnel: Esplai Foundation We could define hate speech as the set of communicative actions aimed at defending, promoting or instigating hatred, humiliation or contempt of a person or group of people. Although hate speech is not something exclusive to the Internet, but is part of the reality beyond the networks, it is true that the potential of the networks facilitates the movement of communication flows, because it facilitates both the production and the creation of messages. Hate speech has also benefited from this and, in addition, has found in the networks other characteristics such as anonymity, brevity, free messaging services or legitimacy granted by the number of followers. With this guide we want to provide digital tools for the creation of this counter-discourse that allows for the creation of messages that offer a positive alternative to extremist propaganda.
